Which way is the bus below traveling?
To the left or to the right?
Can't make up your mind?
Look carefully at the picture again.
Still don't know?
Pre-schoolers were shown this picture asked the same question.
90% of the pre-schoolers gave this answer.
"The bus is traveling to the right ."
When asked, "Why do you think the bus is traveling to the right?"
They answered:
"Because you can't see the door to get on the bus."
How do you feel now?
I know, me too.

Hmm? If you can't see the door to the bus, isn't it moving to the left, and not to the right? I mean if you're seeing it from your perspective? :/
Depends on which side of the road you are used to driving...
fun stuff. i've already guessed preschoolers are smarter than i am. i live with one. the things he comes up with, just makes me want to go and sit down in a corner somewhere :)
(I dont see the driver's door either...may be driver and students use same door in this bus?
Actually, on our buses down here in Louisiana at least when a bus is moving to the right you can see the door and when it's moving to the left you can't...and i'm pretty sure that's in all the United States. as mozfet said it depends on your country really.
Where I live the bus has two entrances, both on the left side of the bus. The entrance in the front is used by pasengers getting into the bus, and where you show/buy your ticket to/from the bus driver. The big entrance in the middle is used to exit the bus, and when people with big luggage/wheelchairs/prams get in...
